” My experience is a bit cryptic, a rising of trepidation before beginning.
So my process starts in a void, where my dreams are the ranting of Carl Jung’s observations. A big house with many doors that I can’t open, a bit of flying about from the roof and folks looking up as I soar over them. It varies mostly, tangles of the subconscious trying to rise to the top. Even the Swans were bringing their own Shasta’s that summer, they arrived at Swan Bay RV Resort for Victoria Day Weekend 2017
– Fabricated of Welded Aluminum, Steel, glass and Epoxy Paint. Mounted on a heavy steel frame.

This Crow ( The Rascal ) was commissioned by the Snow Town Film Festival on 12/14/17 as a present for Viggo Mortensen.
It was an honor when asked to create the crow and present it to Viggo. He has a fondness for crows

Moonwalker Series, The Family 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of 30 This Series is my commentary on the ( Human Condition ).
“A series of postures expressing the strife of surviving on earth now and in the near future. A few redeeming poses (people helping others) and the rest express anguish, horror, desperation, greed, helplessness, and brutality. This work is my mission for the rest of my life. For the most part we are fortunate in the west, yet we cannot avoid a future of human struggle. We are bad caretakers of ourselves and earth. This is one man’s opinion ! “
” My Debtor’s Prison”
I’ve hoarded the trailing’s and leavings of my adopted world, and like a fisherman’s worm I am dangled a still wiggling bait.
From distance great and small my debtors wail like a siren’s song upon my walls.
I must have hoped for too much food, two morsels here a morsel there.
A stamp of emblazoned guilt upon my back burns deeper as again my stomach cry’s loud, the sound of it echo’s across landscaped pigment circling upward past O’Keeffe’s water towers.
Delirious drifting reminders, companions in the dusk, tired thoughts entertain.
There should be more light in my room or more room for my light.
As low with dogged determination of spirt blazes a ray of sunlight.
Eighty stories down never finds me but there in the scape of fields and dreams.
The light is splendor and wholeness of healing.
I’ve asked too much again.

Smiling at my mother in 1978. Taking a break from building my stone house on Grindstone Is.
Our house on Grindstone Is. started in 1975 is made of Picton Is. Red Granite. We salvaged the Cut Stones made from the quarry’s on Picton Is. for the actress May Irwin’s home on Club Is. It burned in 1932. She had the stones moved to her farm in Spicer Bay. They were found by me in 20 ft. of water off Irwin Pt. in 1985. I brought them to Grindstone and finally finished the stone work in 2002.
